Our founder, Mr. Blakemoore has had a passion and love for animals since childhood. This was discovered with his first pet, Duchess. She of coarse was the prettiest dachshund he had ever seen. Though she is no longer with us, his passion continues today.
Channing graduated, cum laude, from Tulane University with a BA in digital design. During college, and after graduation, he was a visuals manager for Macy’s, Inc. During the summer of 2010, he began to apprentice with a master groomer to learn a new trade. Two years later with the support of friends and family, Channing formed The Blakemoore Bark, LLC. As the company grows, he is guided by this mantra: “When tails are wagging, paws matter.”
